Terms & Conditions

The following terms apply to all services and products, including but not limited to Volt chargers, cables, Cool Locker, Cool Locker locks, SOUNDBOKS batteries, Soundlocker, and lockers rented, sold, and delivered through Volt ApS and other websites managed by Volt ApS.

1. Sale of Volt ApS Goods and Volt ApS Partner Goods

1.1. Volt ApS Goods: Volt ApS goods are all the goods sold on shop.getvolt.dk, unless explicitly stated as Volt ApS partner goods. When you order Volt ApS goods, you enter into a purchase agreement with Volt ApS.

1.2. Volt ApS Partner Goods: Volt ApS partner goods are goods sold on shop.getvolt.dk and identified as Volt ApS partner goods. When you order Volt ApS partner goods, you enter into a purchase agreement with the respective Volt ApS partner. Volt ApS partners are identified under the product information of each good. However, SOUNDBOKS battery swaps bought on shop.getvolt.dk, except for SOUNDBOKS battery swaps, are products of Volt ApS. You will enter into a purchase agreement with Volt ApS and not SOUNDBOKS.

1.3. Termination: Volt ApS can immediately terminate these terms. Volt ApS may cease to offer or refuse access to the platform at any time for any reason.

1.4. Changes to Terms: Volt ApS may change the terms from time to time. The changes to the terms will enter into force after Volt ApS publishes the updated terms in the appropriate location. Your continued access to or use of the website after such notice constitutes consent to be bound by the changed terms.

3. Prices and Payment

3.1. Price: The applicable price is the one indicated on the product on the day of the order. All prices include VAT.

3.2. Price Changes: Volt ApS and Volt ApS partners are free to change the stated price without prior notice. If a printing error has occurred and the buyer should know or know that this is a printing error, the buyer cannot get the price due to the printing error. Volt ApS or Volt ApS partner can cancel an order made by a printing error on the price.

3.3. Payment: At Volt ApS or Volt ApS partner, you can make payments with credit- and debit cards (Visa and MasterCard), MobilePay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Volt ApS will withdraw the payment from the customer's card once a purchase is made. If your order is placed through a Volt ApS partner, Volt ApS will withdraw the payment on behalf of the Volt ApS partner. Please note that rental products may require a deposit, which will be withdrawn on the day of the product purchase.

4. Confidentiality

At Volt ApS and Volt ApS partners, we believe that trust and confidentiality are crucial to good cooperation. All information received from you or about you will be treated confidentially, and all employees are subject to the duty of confidentiality.

5. Liability

5.1. Platform Interruptions: Volt ApS is not responsible for breakdowns or temporary interruptions on the platform, breakdown of power or internet connection, vandalism on the system (both physical as well as computer viruses and hacking), misuse of personal data, or other facts and circumstances beyond Volt ApS' control. It is not guaranteed that you can use the sales and wallet platform on any device, and it is assumed that users possess a device compatible with the platform.

6. Product and Service Liability

6.1 Liability for Damages Covered by Product Liability Law: For damages covered by Act No. 481 of 7 June 1989 on product liability, the provisions of the law shall apply.

6.2 Liability for Personal Injury: Volt ApS and Volt ApS partners are only liable for personal injury if it can be proven that the damage resulted from an error or negligence committed by Volt ApS, Volt ApS partners, or other parties responsible for the products.

6.3 Liability for Property Damage: Volt ApS and Volt ApS partners are liable for damage to real estate and movable property under the same conditions as for personal injury.

6.4 Court or Arbitration Tribunal Proceedings: Volt ApS, Volt ApS partners, and the customer agree to be summoned to the court or arbitration tribunal that examines claims related to alleged damages caused by the goods.

7. Volt Charging Service

7.1 Limitation of Liability: Volt ApS cannot be held responsible for any damages or injuries to the customer, the customer's telephone, other battery-driven electronic devices, other individuals, or any other property resulting from the incorrect use of Volt ApS products, accessories, or any components of the Volt ApS service.

7.2 Maximum Claim Amount: Any claims made by the customer against Volt ApS cannot exceed the amount paid to Volt ApS by the customer.

8. SOUNDBOKS Battery Swap by Volt ApS

8.1 Limitation of Liability: Volt ApS and Volt ApS partners are not responsible for any damages or injuries to the customer's SOUNDBOKS, the customer, other individuals, or any other property resulting from the incorrect use of the services or batteries provided.

8.2 Battery Swap Process: Volt ApS and Volt ApS partners will swap the customer's battery for another battery of the same model (e.g., a BatteryBoks 2 will be swapped for another BatteryBoks 2).

8.3 Battery Condition: Volt ApS and Volt ApS partners cannot guarantee that the swapped battery will be in the same condition as the one handed in. Any inquiries about the battery model and condition should be addressed to a Volt ApS booth before the end of the festival/event.

8.4 Ownership and Guarantee: The ownership and original product guarantee period of the handed-in battery will be transferred to the swapped battery and will not be extended or renewed.

8.5 Stock Availability: During peak times, Volt ApS and Volt ApS partners cannot guarantee stock availability of all battery models. In such cases, they reserve the right to ask the customer to visit another booth or return later.

8.6 Unused Battery Swaps: Battery swaps purchased but not utilized during the festival/event will not be refunded.

9. Soundlock

9.1 Limitation of Liability: Volt ApS and Volt ApS partners are not responsible for the theft

of SOUNDBOKS due to the use of Soundlock. They are also not liable for any injuries to the customer, the customer's SOUNDBOKS, other individuals, or any other property resulting from the incorrect use of Volt ApS products, accessories, or any components of the service.

10. Cool Locker & Lockers by Volt

10.1 Personal Belongings: Volt ApS and Volt ApS partners do not assume responsibility for any items left in the Cool Locker and/or Locker. The use of Cool Locker and/or Locker is at the customer's own risk.

10.2 Temperature Control: Volt ApS and Volt ApS partners cannot guarantee the temperature inside the Cool Locker and will not be held responsible for rising temperatures resulting from power failures or other events.

10.3 Forgotten Password: If a customer forgets their password, Volt ApS cannot guarantee opening the Cool Locker and/or Locker before the end of the event.

10.4 Misuse of Cool Locker & Locker: Volt ApS and Volt ApS partners cannot be held responsible for any injuries, damages to property, personal injury, or injury to others resulting from the misuse of the Cool Locker and/or Locker.

10.5 Daily Attendance: Cool Lockers and Lockers will be attended to on a daily basis.

11. Cloakroom Service by Volt ApS

11.1 Agreement and Payment: When using the cloakroom service, the customer enters into an agreement with Volt ApS. The service is paid, and the prices of items stored are listed in each cloakroom.

11.2 Cash Storage: The cloakrooms do not accept cash and are not responsible for any cash located in the items handed in.

11.3 Rejection of Storage: Volt ApS retains the right to reject the storage of certain items.

11.4 Loss of Items: Volt ApS is not responsible for the accidental loss of items and waives any demands for compensation.

11.5 Notice of Missing Items: If a customer notices the absence of any items, they must promptly notify an employee at the cloakroom.

11.6 Unclaimed Items: Unclaimed items will be handed over to Midt- and Vestsjælland Politi after the closing of the specific cloakrooms.

12. Delivery and Claiming Order

12.1 Order Pickup: Customers can pick up their orders at the chosen festival by contacting a Volt booth. The pickup location can be found in the customer's wallet on the platform. Multiple pickup points may be available.

13. Right of Cancellation

13.1 Cancellation of Product Purchase: Customers have a right of cancellation for 14 days when purchasing a product from Volt ApS or a Volt ApS partner. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day the customer receives the product.

13.2 Cancellation of Service or Rental: Customers have a right of cancellation for 14 days when purchasing a service or renting a product from Volt ApS or a Volt ApS partner, provided that the product or service has not been used. The cancellation period expires 14 days after the customer places the order.

13.3 Notification of Cancellation: Within 14 days of receiving the product, the customer must inform Volt ApS of their decision to cancel the purchase. The notification must be provided via mail to support@getvolt.dk or by using the provided form.

14. Return of Goods or Rented Products

14.1 Return on Cancellation: Customers must return the complete order no later than 14 days after receiving a prepaid return label.

14.2 Packaging and Risk: Customers are responsible for properly packing the goods for return and bear the risk of the package/goods until Volt ApS receives it. Customers must keep the receipt for returning the order to the post office.

14.3 Deterioration of Goods: Customers are liable for any deterioration in the value of the goods caused by handling other than what is necessary to determine the nature, properties, and functioning of the product.

14.4 Return of Rented Products: Customers must return rented products and any related accessories no later than the end of the rental period, which is generally the duration of the festival or event unless stated otherwise in the product description. Rented products must be returned to a Volt ApS location at the specified event.

14.5 Usable State of Rented Products: Rented products must be returned in a usable state, meaning that they can be rented out again to a new customer under the same terms. If the product is not returned in a usable state or not returned at all, the paid deposit will be retained in full.

14.6 Cool Locker Return: Cool Lockers must be emptied and cleaned before returning the Cool Locker lock. Any items left in the Cool Locker will be discarded. Volt ApS and Volt ApS partners reserve the right to withhold the deposit if the Cool Locker is not emptied and cleaned.

14.7 Repayment Timeline: Deposits will be returned within 14 banking days after the return of the rented product. The deposit will be refunded using the same method as the initial payment.

15. Unclaimed Products and Services

15.1 Uncollected Products: Products purchased but not collected cannot be collected or refunded during or after the events.

16. Repayment of Purchase Amount

16.1 Refund Process: If a customer wishes to cancel a purchase of a product or service, they will be refunded the full amount, including any additional costs, provided the product or service has not been used.

16.2 Refund Timeline: The refund will be made within 14 days from the date Volt ApS receives notice of the customer's decision to cancel the purchase. Volt ApS reserves the right to withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received, unless documentation for the return has been submitted.

17. Right of Complaint

17.1 Application of Danish Sale of Goods Act: The rules of the Danish Sale of Goods Act apply to goods purchases. Customers have a 24-month right of complaint if there are defects in the product. Depending on the specific situation determined by Volt ApS or Volt ApS partner, customers have the option to have the item repaired, exchanged, or receive a refund.

17.2 Exclusions to Right of Complaint: The right of complaint does not apply if the defect has arisen as a result of incorrect use of the product or other damaging behavior.

17.3 Complaint Process: Customers can submit a complaint about a product via email to support@getvolt.dk or by post to the following address:

17.4 Timely Complaint: Customers must submit the complaint within a "reasonable time" after discovering the defect in the item. The product should be sent to the address mentioned above.

18. Privacy Policy

18.1 Information Collection: In order for customers to enter into an agreement with Volt ApS and use shop.getvolt.dk, certain information may be required, including the customer's name, email address, and phone number. This information is necessary for handling the services within the agreement.

18.2 Processing of Information: The processing of customer information will be conducted in accordance with the regulations outlined in the Privacy Policy.

19. Applicable Law

19.1 Jurisdiction: Any dispute arising from a purchase through Volt ApS and the website, including the interpretation and validity of these terms and conditions, is subject to Danish law and must be brought before the Frederiksberg City Court.

20. Appeal

20.1 Contacting Customer Service: If customers have a complaint about their purchase, they can contact Customer Service via email at support@getvolt.dk.

20.2 Complaint to the Center for Complaints: If a solution cannot be found together, customers have the option to file a complaint with the Center for Complaints:

20.3 Filing Complaint Online: Complaints can be submitted through www.forbrug.dk, the Center for Complaints' website.

20.4 EU Commission Online Complaint Portal: Customers who are residents of another EU country can also file a complaint through the EU Commission's online complaint portal at http://ec.europa.eu/odr. When submitting a complaint, the customer must enter the email address support@getvolt.dk.
