Volt is operating on music festivals, events and venues throughout Europe, mainly known from servicing the city of Roskilde Festival with portable energy. Volt has brought new digital solutions to the event scene and is now energetically working on expanding our reach with new clients and markets.

The position

As the Account Executive / Lead Business Developer you will be responsible for the account management of all our existing partners, including major European festivals and major B2C brands such as telcos, insurance and electricity companies. Additionally, you are to establish new partners and markets for our growing number of digital solutions in event and venue market.

You will be expected to be up to date with the music festival scene in Europe, which requires you to attend major industry festivals and conferences on a regular basis. During the summer festival season you will get a unique opportunity to visit an extensive amount of festivals and meet up with existing and potential new partners.

Apart from our core business, the Volt Charging Service, we have been expanding our offerings for events with a clear focus on improving the festival experience through digital solutions. Some of the new offerings are ready for sales to new partners, where others require your creative thinking to develop the business model and market fit. Additionally, there is an opportunity to develop our inbound marketing efforts together with the marketing team as we experience proactive interest from potential business costustumers.

You will be working in close collaboration with our production team as each festival, event or venue is unique and requires detailed budgeting to estimate potential outcome.


  • Maintain a good relationship with our existing partners, both festivals and major B2C brands

  • Expand our presence in the events market through creative partnerships / brand activations

  • Develop new markets for our digital solutions, fx into the nightclub scene

  • Develop our inbound sales efforts in collaboration with the marketing team

  • Identify deal blockers and disqualify leads that are not a good fit

  • Represent Volt at major industry festivals and conferences throughout Europe


  • Are fluent in English, both written and oral. Other languages are a plus

  • Are outgoing and love to meet new people

  • Have previous experience with maintaining and developing business partnerships

  • Have a passion for the music scene and potential experience with working with it

  • Have an ambition of being a key player in an expanding and curious company
