This battery does not contain cadmium above 0.002 % or lead above 0.004 % by weight.
Safety information
Do not open, puncture, crush, or disassemble the battery. Do not expose it to fire, direct sunlight for extended periods, or temperatures above 60 °C. Do not immerse in water. Do not use the battery if it is swollen, damaged, or leaking — return it to Volt or hand it in at a collection point. Charge only with the specified input voltage and current. Keep out of reach of small children. In case of fire, do not use water on burning lithium cells.
Disposal and recycling
Batteries contain valuable materials that can be recovered and reused, as well as substances that can harm the environment and human health if disposed of incorrectly. By handing in used batteries for separate collection, you help prevent waste, conserve resources, and reduce the environmental impact of battery production.
Where to hand in this battery:
- Return it at any Volt station at a festival or event — we take back all Volt powerbanks free of charge.
- Hand it in at any public battery collection point, recycling centre (genbrugsplads), or retailer that sells batteries. Collection is free of charge for end users throughout the EU.
Never dispose of this battery in household waste, and never dispose of it in nature. Damaged or swollen batteries should be handed in as soon as possible and stored away from flammable materials in the meantime.
