At Volt we believe that if people from every country, every culture, and every background are able to connect with the ones they care about, the world would be a better place. We believe that access to power is a basic human need and is fundamental for a human society to grow. Our mission is to empower people to connect with the ones they care about by providing access to power whenever and wherever it is needed.
Volt was founded by three festival-loving, experience-seeking, design-obsessed friends who believe that access to power will make the world a better place. Trygve, Tobias and Rune met at the Technical University of Denmark and have been travelling festivals around the world to build Volt ever since. Together with a highly dedicated team and over 500 volunteers Volt has delivered power to over 200.000 people and still counting.
