How deposits work
All deposits are paid at pick-up when collecting your Volt Charger and cable at the festival.
If you already have a Volt Charger from a previous festival or year, you don’t need to pay the charger deposit again.
The same applies to the cable deposit if you bring your own USB-C cable, which we encourage as part of our green initiative.

Refunds
Deposits are refunded to your original payment method within up to 14 bank days after returning your Volt Charger and/or cable at the same festival.

Keep your charger after the festival?
No problem! Iif you choose to keep your Volt Charger, we retain the charger deposit and you keep the device.
Just remember to pick up a free USB-A cable at the Volt Charging Container so you can charge it at home.

Your Volt Charger is picked up and exchanged at the Volt Charging Containers located near the camping area (“Campen”) at the festival site during opening hours. All interactions with your Volt Charger take place here, making it easy to stay powered throughout the festival.

How long does a Volt Charger last on a full charge?
A fully charged Volt typically provides enough power for a full day of normal phone use. Battery life depends on your phone model and usage.

How many times can I swap my Volt Charger?
You can swap your Volt Charger once per day at the Volt Charging Containers during the festival.

Can I charge multiple devices at once?
Volt Chargers are designed to charge one device at a time.

Do I need to bring my own cable?
You can rent a USB-C cable on-site with a refundable deposit, but we encourage bringing your own to support our green initiative and help reduce electronic waste.

Can I get a charger for just a single day or a quick top-up?
Yes. If you’re only at the festival for a single day or just need a quick charge, you can buy a Volt SingleBoost on-site.

Volt SingleBoost includes a single charging cycle and follows the same deposit rules for charger and cable. It cannot be pre-booked and is only available at the Volt Charging Containers during the festival.

What happens if I forget to return my Volt Charger?
If the charger is not returned, the charger deposit is retained and you keep the Volt Charger.
If you choose to do so, just remember to pick up a free USB-A cable at a Volt Charging Container so you can charge it at home.

Where can I get help during during the festival?
On-site support is available at Volt Containers throughout the festival.

Volt Charging Service is provided and operated by Volt, with on-site support available during festival opening hours.

Use at your own risk
Use of Volt Charging Service is at your own risk. Volt is not responsible for loss, damage, or misuse of the Volt Charger or cable.

Charging performance
Heavy phone usage during charging (e.g. social media, filming, or photography) may result in slower charging or a less than full charge.

Swap limitations
Volt Chargers can be swapped once per day per customer for a fully charged unit.

Pick-up and service locations
Relevant pick-up and service information will be provided at the time of booking and during on-site collection.

Volt Chargers can be picked up, swapped, and returned at Volt Containers close to the campsite.

Deposits and refunds
Deposits for Volt Chargers and any rented cables are only refundable at the same festival/event where the service was purchased.
