About Volt
Volt was founded in 2011 by three visionary DTU students on a mission to revolutionise the festival experience through innovative tech solutions, including mobile charging services. Today, Volt offers five services across festivals in Denmark, the EU, and the UK.
Meet the team
Frederik is one of Volt's co-founders and has been with the company since the very beginning — back when three DTU students turned a caravan into a charging station at Roskilde Festival. Today, he leads Volt as CEO, steering the company through new markets, new services, and new adventures across European festivals.
Rasmus keeps the wheels turning at Volt. As Head of Operations, he makes sure everything runs smoothly across all festivals and markets — from logistics and staffing to on-the-ground execution. If something needs to happen, Rasmus makes it happen.
Oliver is the mastermind behind Volt's physical presence at festivals. As Production Manager, he oversees the setup, teardown, and everything in between — making sure stands are built, gear is ready, and the operation runs like clockwork from day one to the final breakdown.
Jakob is responsible for communication and relations at Volt — both with our event partners and with customers. He makes sure our partners have everything they need and that customers get the best possible experience, before, during, and after the festival.
Emilie is the heart behind Volt's people culture. As People & Culture Manager, she works to attract great people, build a strong team culture, and make sure everyone — from full-time staff to seasonal volunteers — feels welcome and valued at Volt.
Isabella drives employer engagement within Volt's People & Culture team. She connects with potential candidates, coordinates recruitment efforts, and builds relationships that help Volt attract and retain great people — making sure the right talent finds its way to Europe's biggest festivals.
Line is currently on maternity leave. As Customer Experience Manager, she is responsible for making every interaction with Volt a great one — ensuring customers get the help they need quickly and leave with a smile. We look forward to welcoming her back!
Oliver coordinates the people side of Volt's festival operations. As People & Culture Event Coordinator, he works closely with volunteers and staff to make sure everyone is in the right place at the right time — and that the festival atmosphere starts before the music even does.
Jonas keeps Volt's tech running. As IT Operations Manager, he is responsible for the systems, infrastructure, and digital tools that power Volt's operations — from the festival floor to the back office. If it involves software, hardware, or a stubborn Wi-Fi connection in a field, Jonas is on it.
Otto shapes how Volt looks and feels. As Visual Creative Coordinator, he is responsible for the visual identity across social media, campaigns, and creative content — making sure everything Volt puts out captures the energy of festival season. If it looks good, Otto had a hand in it.
Adriano manages Volt's sales and partner relationships. He works closely with event organisers, festivals, and partners across Europe — growing existing partnerships and forging new ones to bring Volt's services to more stages and bigger audiences.
Nikolaj is Volt's IT intern, supporting the team with everything from development tasks to system maintenance. He brings curiosity and technical skills to the role — and is getting hands-on experience with the kind of tech challenges that only come with running operations across Europe's biggest festivals.
