Terms Volunteers

Duties

Volunteer duties include charger swaps, customer service, and general service tasks. Volunteers must arrive 15 minutes before their shift and wear the Volt t-shirt at all times while on duty.

Working Hours

At Roskilde Festival, volunteers complete 32 hours across four 8-hour shifts. Total hours may vary depending on the festival.

Compensation

Volunteers receive the following in return for their work:

• Festival access via wristband
• Staff camping
• Snacks and beverages during shifts
• One free charger swap (value DKK 200)
• A Volt charger (non-returnable)

Deposit

A deposit of DKK 600 is required to secure your volunteer spot. The deposit is refunded only upon completion of all scheduled shifts, within 10 days of the festival's end.

Absence

Missing a shift without a doctor's certificate results in forfeiture of the deposit and a charge for the festival wristband. Illness requires a doctor's certificate and notification at least 2 hours before the shift.

Confidentiality

Volunteers must maintain full confidentiality regarding user information, internal staff matters, and service data — including after the engagement has ended.
